The Paper Fair - Sunday 8 September 2002
To mark the end of the Holland Paper Biennial 2002, Museum Rijswijk has again organized a grand paper fair, which will be held on Sunday 8 September from 12.00 till 17.00 hours in the grounds of the museum. A large number of artists and papermakers will be taking part and presenting their own products. There will also be various demonstrations.
The shop
During the Holland Paper Biennial 2002, a shop will be open in Museum Rijswijk selling a wide range of books about paper and paper art, sheets of handmade paper and objet d’art.
The handmade paper on sale includes examples made by Vibeke Bak Hansen (Denmark), Maureen Richardson (England), Rogier Uitenbogaard (Japan) and
Natan Kaaren (Israel).
Objet d’art, jewellery and postcards produced by Ursula Schiegnitz (Germany), Richard Wetzel (Germany) and Nel Linssen, Ingeborg Vandamme, Nienke van Amersfoort, Colette Bloos, Ingrid Siliakus, Nadjezda van Ittersum, Inez Fritschy and Aliza Thomasfrom the Netherlands, and many others will also be on sale.
