In 1996 Jae Ko discovered a way of using cash register paper in her work. By rolling the paper tight or loose she creates a basic form. The edges of the paper show a line drawing. When these lines are brought in contact with ink, a dramatic effect appears. The final shape is decided by the tightness of the paper roll, the extent of ink absorption and further how the paper dries. --website
