Siliakus’ passion for paper began when she discovered paper architecture. This is an art form whereby from just one sheet of paper a three-dimensional object is created by cutting and folding. The ingenious and complex constructions force her to work with a meditative precision. The final result is preceded by many prototypes and adjustments. Not until Siliakus is satisfied about the design she begins with cutting and folding with clockwork precision. --website
