Holland Papier Biënnale 2012 - Rijswijk and The Hague, the Netherlands

On account of the building of a new wing to the Rijswijk museum the ninth Holland Paper Biennial will not be organized in the summer of 2012 but in the autumn (September 4 - November 25). New partner this time will be the Museum Meermanno in The Hague. In general the Holland Paper Biennials want to show paper art in a pure and varied way. As the Meermanno museum specializes in books special attention will be paid this edition to artworks referring to books and letters. Artists who would like to participate in the Holland Paper Biennial 2012 are requested to forward their documentation - a CD-rom with photographs of recent artworks and a c.v. - to the Rijswijk Museum before October 31, 2011. In November a jury will make a selection of the contributions and in January 2012 the artists will be informed if their work has been selected for the Holland Paper Biennial 2012. The CD-rom will not be returned after the final selection has been made. Artists who have sent their documentation in previous years, are also kindly requested to forward their updated documentation. For more information about the Holland Paper Biennial you can visit the websites www.museumryswyk.nl - Holland Paper Biennial 2000-2010 or www.meermanno.nl or www.hollandpapierbiennale.nl.
